Reflexology stimulates the reflex points to enhance self healing. The human relfex system is directly related to human health. What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a modality where the therapist works on your feet, hands, ears, face or cranial. The theory behind reflexology is that there are "reflex points" in the feet, hands and ears that relate to every part, gland and organ in the body.  There are 7200 nerve endings in each foot which benefits the neurological, muscular and skeletal systems when stimulated.

Benefits of Reflexology

Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation, and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body. Reducing stress, stimulating healing from within, increases blood flow, and returns the body to a natural healing state without adverse side effects.  Reflexology also releases endorphins which are chemical messengers, similar to morphine.  They produce a calming and euphoric sensation. They also suppress pain by blocking transmission of pain from one neuron to another.

Foot Reflexology - Muscle Reflexes
Reflexology stimulates the reflex points to enhance self healing. The human relfex system is directly related to human health. For example, reflexology is often used to obtain relief for migraine headaches.

Reflexology has been recognized for hundreds of years: artwork representing people working on each other's feet have been found in ancient Egyptian tombs. It has been considered a very important holistic approach in medicine.

Feet do not lie; with 7200 nerve endings in each foot the entire body can be stimulated through the foot reflex, promoting healing from within.

Foot reflexology is effective to promote healing of many ailments by encouraging your own neurological system to increase blood flow to areas of concern.

Reflexology (zone therapy) is the practice of massaging, squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet, or sometimes the hands and ears, with the goal of encouraging a beneficial effect on other parts of the body, or to improve general health.
